The main manufacturing vessel, sometimes called a contra rotary mixer, is an integral part of a Toothpaste manufacturing mixer. As its name implies, a Contra Rotary Mixer uses the principle of counter-rotating blades to perform scraping and beating operations in tandem. To bring the material back to the centre of the container, the Mixing Assembly has a set of paddle-like blades that are the right shape. The centre shaft has paddle-type blades that are welded onto it. This shaft goes through a hollow shaft. For complete and equal mixing, the two sets of blades weave in and out of each other as they spin counter-clockwise and clockwise, respectively. One set of blades also scrapes the wall of the container.
